standing

moment 
when 
it 
would 
have 
been 
very 
easy

along

the 
crowd. 
*Fourth 
graders 
gave

large,

California-shaped 
cookie 
featuring 
the 
state’s 
four 
regions.

privileged 
to 
join 
a 
circle 
of 
middle 
school 
students 
who 
came 
to 
school 
early 
to 
pray 
around 
the 
flag 
pole. 
*I 
received 
an 
e-mail 
notifying 
the 
staff 
that 
seven 
parent 
prayer 
warriors 
will 
be 
blanketing 
our 
campus 
with 
prayer 
every 
Monday. 
This 
is 
the 
day 
the 
LORD
