A Message from the Athletic Director:
I again look forward to the 2009-10school year with an attitude of grateful appreciation and thanksgiving
to God. I am aware of the great responsibility of overseeing the athletic department here at
Ripon Christian High School. I have spent most of the last 29 years actively involved in youth
ministry, Christian school education, and coaching athletics. My experiences involved being a
pastor, teacher in the classroom, along with being an athletic director, chaplain, and principal.
Through these experiences my personal philosophy has involved encouraging a healthy balance
of the physical, spiritual, and educational aspects of our lives. I firmly believe the maturing
young person must develop a healthy spiritual awareness with their understanding of God
through the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ, maintain a strong and healthy growing body, as
each of our own is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and grow with a maturing, sound mind as we
are continually educated from a Christian perspective.
As the Ripon Christian Athletic Director I bring experience from many areas to continue developing
and improving upon the already effective program that has been in place for generations. My
philosophy as an athletic director will be consistent with my endeavors in the classroom, athletic
field, and from the pulpit. I will be diligent to encourage students, coaches, and the Ripon
Christian community to participate and develop as a whole person in Christ.
