Thompson Gale Research Database Information
The Thomson-Gale database provides students with all their research needs at school and at home. This database provides comprehensive coverage of all the curriculum areas: arts, history, literature, science and social studies. There are hundreds of reference sources from which to choose with new content added continually. These databases are available to all students at school and at home. At home, students can access the databases through the school website: rcschools.com and using the password knights to enter into the database.

InfoTrac OneFile - includes over 8,500 titles with 4,900 full-text articles from newswires, newspapers, and periodicals.
Student Resource Center Gold is a fully integrated database containing thousands of curriculum-targeted primary documents, biographies, topical essays, background information, and critical analyses, including full-text coverage of over 1,000 magazines, newspapers with over 20,000 photographs and illustrations. This database is a good place to begin your search. Also included in this database is the Student Resource Center - Health Module with additional web links to health web sites.
General Reference Center is a general interest database that integrates a variety of sources in one easy-to-use computer screen. Use the General Reference Center to find articles from magazines, reference books, and newspapers.
Expanded Academic ASAP is the database to use for research needs for all disciplines. This database contains scholarly journals, news magazines, and newspapers.
Biography Resource Center is the database to use to research specific people past and present.
Literature Resource Center, Scribner Writers Series, and The Twayne Authors Series are the databases to use for English, Honors English, and Literature.
