FALL BRUNCH:
This is our time of meeting new friends and renewing acquaintances. It is held at the October meeting and is for members and guests.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT:
This is our biggest fundraiser and is held at the Ripon Community Center. Family Fun Night will be held on October 25, 2008. As the name implies, there is something for everyone. We provide dinner, a Country Store, carnival games, and baked goods. The evening is hightlighted by an auction of donated items including everything from handcrafted items to family vacations! Over 250 volunteers are needed to make this a continued success.
COOKBOOKS:
We have a 75th Anniversary Ripon Christian Cookbook that is availabe for purchase. Recipes from many school families, freinds, and alumni makes this unique item a great gift! They are still available for purchase at Main Street Floral, Schemper's ACE Hardware, church offices, and the school offices.
HOT LUNCHES:
Profits are minimal as we offer this service to our students as a labor of love on the first four Wednesdays of each month. The menu rotation is burritos, sloppy joes, pizza and hot dogs. You can download the hot lunch form here.
ALMOND BLOSSOM FESTIVAL BOOTH:
Food booths are set up along the parade route selling pastries and beverages. This fundraiser requires around 30 people to set up, operate, and tear down the booths and is held during the last weekend of February (02/28/09).
SALLY FOSTER:
The School Circle is responsible for coordinating this major fundraiser which occurs between September and November of each year. Many hands make for light work and getting the orders sorted for the various classrooms is a big job. Several volunteers are needed to make the work go quickly.
POLO SHIRTS:
This fundraiser was formed to provide an option of exchanging previously worn polo uniform shirts, between our RC families at a minimal cost. Funds raised benefit both family and school, as shirt expense is lessened and as School Circle income is put to use for other school needs. Sales are held in August, May, and other times announced throughout the school year.
MELALEUCA/HEALTHY HOME:
This is an ongoing fundraiser and a percentage of every order from RC members (and those they refer) goes to RC in the form of a check each month. Melaleuca carries over 400 non-toxic household products including cleaners, cosmetics, and over-the-counter pharmacy products. Products can be ordered online; and as a frequent shopper, customers are also eligible for free products. You can get more information at www.rchealthyhome.com.
