Academic Profile 2021-2022

Community

Ripon Christian High School is one of the oldest established Christian high schools in the San Joaquin Valley.  Located approximately 90 miles east of San Francisco, 65 miles south of Sacramento, and 75 miles north of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Ripon is a large agricultural community.  A significant percentage of our students come from families in the dairy or other agriculture-related businesses.  RCHS was established in 1946 and continues to provide a Christ-centered, liberal arts education for children from Christian families.  The high school student body is composed of 193 students very evenly divided between males (52%) and females (48%).  There are 16 full-time staff and 5-part time staff as well as a librarian and counselor, 13 of which hold master’s degrees.  The average class size is 20 and the teacher-student ratio is 12:1. Although it accepts students of all ability levels, Ripon Christian High School offers a comprehensive program that is strongly college preparatory.

Accreditation and Affiliation

RCHS is a Christian Schools International (CSI) and Associated Christian Schools International (ACSI) institution that is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) since 1971.  Ripon Christian is also a member of the California Association of Private School Organizations, California Interscholastic Federation, College Entrance Examination Board, and NASSP Division of Student Activities.
