School Theme

2021 - 2022 School Theme

At Ripon Christian, we spend months developing our school theme because we truly believe it helps provide a framework on which chapels and classroom discussions can be based around.  A theme helps establish a renewed spiritual climate and focus from year to year.  A theme provides teachers a springboard to engage students in spiritual conversations.  A theme assists in one of our primary goals: to help students Connect Faith and Learning. In other words, school-wide themes are vital in helping a Christian School fulfill its mission on a yearly basis.

This year Ripon Christian’s school-wide theme is “People of the Promise” and is based on Deuteronomy 31:8 which says, “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

What an encouraging promise!  God promised to be with the Israelites as they entered the Promised Land and God promises to be with us today.  As a matter of fact, scripture is full of promises that God makes to his covenant people.

Each month at RC we’ll explore another promise God made and kept in Scripture.  Some of these include promises of a Savior, Provision, Forgiveness, Courage, and Rest.  Our prayer is that our students see clear connections between God’s deep love and the keeping of his many promises!
