Our mission at Priceless Treasures Thrift Shop is to responsibly steward the donations entrusted to us, turning them into meaningful support for our partner organizations—Ripon Christian Schools and Sierra Salem Christian Homes. Through efficient processing, thoughtful resale, and a commitment to exceptional customer service, we aim to honor our donors, serve our community, and extend the impact of Christian care and education.
Founded over 17 years ago by a faithful community of local churches, Priceless Treasures Thrift Shop began as a simple idea: create a year-round ministry that could financially support Christian education. What started with just a few volunteers and modest donations has grown into something truly impactful for our community.
In our earliest days, we were entirely volunteer-run—mostly by families from Ripon Christian Schools and local churches. That first year, we were blessed to give just $500 back to our mission partners. More recently, by God’s grace and your generosity, we’ve been able to give over $200,000 in a single year.
We are proud to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We hear it all the time: “You’re the best thrift store in Modesto!” Come visit us and see why.
How You Can Help
Volunteering at Priceless Treasures is a meaningful way to serve the Lord with your time and talents. It’s an opportunity to build friendships with others who share a commitment to Christian education, while making a real difference in the lives of covenant children. For those in retirement, it offers a sense of purpose and a rewarding way to continue serving the community and God’s Kingdom.
Volunteer Opportunities (Weekly)
We're always in need of volunteers to:
- Clean, tag, and price donations
- Repair and clean furniture or electronics
- Unload our trailer on Wednesdays
- Organize and restock the sales floor
- Hang and tag clothing
Not Able to Volunteer? Please Donate!
If you can’t give time, you can still give great donations. It’s not always easy, but every item you give helps support children—your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, and neighbors—by funding their Christian education.
We gladly accept most items from your home, garage, shed, or storage unit.
We do NOT accept:
- Beds or mattresses
- Computers or printers
- Child car seats
- Stuffed/overused upholstered furniture (unless in excellent condition – no rips, stains, or pet damage)
- We do welcome vintage and antique items in good condition.
